Mineralization is a Pliocene polymetallic vein/gossan deposit hosted in the Ajax Dolomite, Opex Formation. The ore body is 609.6 meters in length. Controls for ore emplacement included N-trending fissures with NE off-shoots. It strikes N to W of the Mammoth pipe. Local alteration includes contact metamorphism.

Workings include underground openings with a length of 1,609.3 meters, an overall depth of 304.8 meters and an overall length of 609.6 meters, and consist of a 220 foot adit with a 40 foot winze. 200 feet N is an open cut with a 40 foot adit. 1,500 feet E is a 70 foot adit. An old shaft is caved into the stopes & is considered dangerous. The Ajax adit is 400 feet from the portal. Explored during 1926 from the 1,800 level of the Lower Mammoth.
